The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into mass sports and sporting events is transforming how amateur athletes, organizers, and coaches approach participants’ training and support. AI provides scalable solutions that address challenges unique to mass participation events, enabling unprecedented levels of personalization, efficiency, and engagement.
On December 12, 2024, OMY! Sports participated in the international AI Journey conference, a key event in the field of artificial intelligence. The conference serves as a platform for international collaboration, discussions on scientific achievements, and the practical application of AI in business, science, and society.
The event was attended by representatives from the scientific community, businesses, government bodies, and international organizations from countries including Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Germany, the UAE, Indonesia, Bahrain, and others.

- Personalized AI coach: Adapts training plans based on user data, perceived exertion (RPE), and feedback to ensure progressive and adaptive training programs.
- Scalability: Over 13,000 runners currently use the service.
- Performance improvement: On average, users see a 14.6% increase in their personal bests across distances from 5 km to 42.2 km.
- Accessibility: Thanks to automation and the mobile app format, the service is available at an affordable price of approximately $8 per month.
- Customized large language model for efficient communication: Integrated AI processes over 30,000 chat messages since the start of 2024, ensuring fast and efficient communication with users.
- Support from professional coaches: Direct communication with human coaches provides a “human touch,” strengthening the connection with users.
The synergy of AI and human expertise allows OMY! Sports to deliver high-quality, individualized training while scaling it to a broad audience. Automating routine processes — from creating and analyzing training plans to communicating with runners — frees coaches to focus on deeper personal interactions with their clients.
